Our Story

From corporate life to niche farming – how did we get here!?

Corporate Manager

We moved from rural Alabama to Colorado to chase a corporate management position. It was a beautiful area right in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  Loved it!

Outsourced

Sometimes life throws you a curve.  The company outsourced their IT department – me and my team lost our jobs.

Relocated to Michigan

We decided to move back on this side of the Mississippi to get a little closer to family.

"Saw" a field of lavender

While house hunting, I saw a field of lavender where the previous owner had planted rye grass.  Funny part is – it was the middle of winter and we had never thought of being lavender farmers.
